Over the last few months, we’ve been busy here at Stripe OLT; not only have we received our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, but we’ve also become a Microsoft Gold Partner! We are extremely proud of these achievements, so we thought we’d tell you a little about what they mean and why they are so important to us…
As a company that takes cyber security very seriously, we are proud to be part of the Cyber Essentials community, and in June, we gained our Cyber Essentials Plus practitioner status, which ultimately means the work we do to protect ourselves and our clients is recognised by the UK government. It’s an accreditation that’s now deemed essential if you want to apply for government contracts and provide tender proposals to many UK organisations, so it’s an absolute must in today’s digital business landscape!
To get this certification, we had to go through a full system audit, which included rigorous penetration testing of our security configuration, firewalls, user access control tools, malware protection and patch management (to name a few). We like to think this isn’t just peace of mind for us, but it also gives our clients the confidence they need to know we are doing everything we can to protect their systems!
The next cause for celebration this month is brought by our certification as a Microsoft Gold Partner! The Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform Competency is an elite level in the Microsoft Partner Programme, attained by only a small percentage of the most capable and engaged Microsoft partners. We had to meet a range of criteria to attain this accreditation, from installing live customer systems in Azure to passing exams – it wasn’t an easy process!

“For us being a Microsoft Gold Partner is something we’ve all aspired to for some time. There is a huge jump from a silver to gold partnership, so this is a massive achievement for the Stripe team and we can’t wait to get our next one!”
We like to think it’s onwards and upwards here at Stripe OLT, but while we work on our next accreditation, we’d better get those certificates up on the wall.
