Stripe OLT’s Security Operations Centre has just been named ‘SME Security Solution of the Year’, but this win is more than just a title... It’s proof that enterprise-grade cyber protection doesn’t have to come with an enterprise-sized price tag
Earlier this year, we became the first SOC to pass the newly developed CREST SOC accreditation in the world – a milestone that validated the maturity of our operation. To now receive national recognition from Computing, further cements our position as a leader in SME cyber security
We’re incredibly proud to share that Stripe OLT has been named ‘SME Security Solution of the Year’ at the 2025 Computing Security Excellence Awards.
This is a big one for us. It recognises the impact our Security Operations Centre (SOC) is having on small and mid-sized businesses, delivering the kind of round-the-clock protection that’s often assumed to be out of reach for anyone without an enterprise budget.
Earlier this year, we became the first SOC globally to pass the newly developed CREST SOC accreditation – a huge milestone that validated the depth and maturity of what we’ve built. To now follow that with national recognition from Computing is a real moment. It shows that what we’re doing isn’t just working — it’s setting a new standard.
What makes our SOC stand out?
For a long time, SMEs have been left to figure out cyber security on their own – often with stretched resources, a range of dispersed toolsets, and no 24/7 protection in place.
We wanted to change that.
So, we built our SOC service around what SMEs actually need:
Constant monitoring and response (MDR)
Hands-on threat hunting
Deep integration with Microsoft’s security stack
All delivered by people who know what they’re doing and care about getting it right.
Our SOC Monitor, Manage and 360 plans give businesses flexibility without compromise – whether we’re protecting 30 endpoints or 7,000.
Organisations supporting critical UK infrastructure, like the NHS Confederation have come to us for support, proving that what we’ve built holds up at every level.
Ryan Pullen, Director of Cyber Security at Stripe OLT, comments:
“This award is another big win for the team – recognition like this doesn’t come easily, and it’s a testament to the years we’ve spent building a service that truly delivers for SMEs. We’ve always believed that cyber security should be smart, affordable and fully managed – and this award proves that approach works.
