the Need.

Haseltine Lake Kempner needed a partner that could help them transition to a hybrid environment, and they knew they required a Microsoft provider they could rely on.

With a host of VLP agreements and an ageing PBX system that was restrictive, having a multitude of technologies was no longer useful and HLK needed to consolidate their solutions under one roof.

They thought E5 might be the right way forward; however, they did not really know which direction to take, and that is when they engaged with our team.

The Solution.

Ian Harkess, IT Manager at HLK, says:
‘With the right credentials as a Microsoft Solutions Partner, and the bonus of having a local office, we decided to progress the project with Stripe OLT. They went through everything with us, which was really helpful. They were able to give us in-person advice, which makes life so much easier. Trying to wade through mountains of documentation, trying to understand a lot of different things, can be a really daunting process.’
He continues:
‘We also had an Avaya phone system that was running on ISDN. Obviously, with ISDN being phased out, we needed to move to a SIP-based solution. We looked at a number of different options, but Microsoft seemed to be the way forward to integrate it with Microsoft Teams.’
As such, following a discovery of assets and the creation of a project plan, we were able to implement their new Microsoft 365 E5 solution.
