PMO Analyst

The Role.

Stripe OLT is leading IT and Cyber Security provider, looking for a PMO Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing, successful MSP with offices in London, Manchester and Bristol. 

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on individual who will provide planning assistance to all projects, supporting the project team with project schedules and resource requirements. 
 
The key skill set for this role is communication verbally and written, you will assist in managing schedules, arrange and discuss resource allocation, assisting in preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets/invoicing for projects, gathering necessary resources and communicate progress to all team members.  
 
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to help deliver results on deadlines helping to keep projects on track.

The responsibilities include…

  • Coordination of project management activities, resources diaries and customer input and interaction. 
  • Act as the point of contact for project administration and communicate project status to all participants. 
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers. 
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures. 
  • Create/prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, risk registers, actions and issues logs, presentations, plans and reports to internal teams and key stakeholders. 
  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions and key notes from meetings (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps). 
  • Create and update workflows. 
  • Measure and report on project performance. 
  • Act as the point of contact for all participants. 
  • Making recommendations aligned to best practices to deliver against broader internal and external business challenges.  
  • Work with the team to plan resourcing requirements to make sure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Knowledge & Experience.  

Skill Requirements:

  • Great organisational and time management skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to standardise processes for efficiency and productivity  
  • Ability to analyse data, and excellent problem-solving skills 
  • MS Suite, including excellent Excel skills 
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to build relationships to collect data on time, chase outstanding actions and challenge back where necessary 
  • Proactive and able to work as part of a team and as an individual 

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a PMO function 
  • Experience of management reporting including tracking of plans and benefits, risks and issue tracking.
