Data Protection Analyst
The Role
who we are looking for.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload and reporting to the Information Security Manager. Being able to manage your own time and work independently as well as in collaboration with management, is a must. The role is a hybrid role, but with flexibility which can be discussed with management.
Prior experience in the data protection/GDPR field is required for a minimum of 2 years.
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with key clients through regular meetings and calls.
- Ensure the quality of our Services aligns with client requirements.
- Deliver DPIA’s for clients.
- Join weekly calls with the Information Security Manager to discuss client work.
- Act as a knowledge source for Data Protection issues and queries.
- Act as an outsourced Data Protection Analyst to provide advice, insight and solutions to customer queries and problems.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of your customer’s risks and priorities by conducting data protection audits.
- Address emerging trends and changes to the legal requirements of GDPR.
- Manage Subject Access Requests for Stripe OLT.
- Help improve the data protection area internally at Stripe OLT.
- Provide ideas and proposals of services that could be delivered to clients.
- Assist with ISO 27001 control monitoring, auditing and risk management. This can be learned on the job, over time.
- Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment.
- Superb communication skills translating complex compliance requirements to clients and leadership in an easily understandable manner.
Objectives
- Support and deliver Data Protection services to clients.
- Improve internal processes and procedures for Data Protection.
- Support the overall departmental needs including ISO 27001.
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
- Support Stripe OLT business objectives.
- Deliver training around GDPR to clients and internal teams.
- Present ideas and strategies for new services we can deliver to clients around Data Protection.
