Business Development Manager

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join Stripe OLT.

The Role.

We are currently looking for a talented B2B business development manager to identify, qualify, develop and close leads from within our potential Bristol and London client base. The day-to-day role will be based around direct B2B prospecting in the Bristol and London areas (cross-sector), generating and qualifying leads, database and CRM management and closing sales.

This is a role that will give you the benefits of working for a small, focused team within a positive, fun and professional company. You will be a major part of the sales drive within the business, and have the opportunity to flourish and grow with the company.

To be considered for this exciting role, you will possess previous sales and/or telesales experience, preferably gained in the B2B / Technology sector.

Technical Requirements.

  • Previous proven B2B technology sales experience is essential
  • Knowledge of the IT and technology sector would be essential to the role
  • Telesales experience essential
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure and strive to meet targets
  • The ability to build rapport with prospects and represent the company and products well
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with and without supervision

Role Objectives.

You'll be required to...

  • Identify and qualify decision maker interest in a product line
  • Manage qualified leads through the sales pipeline
  • Manage all sales follow-up admin / CRM activity / emails / appointments
  • Self-manage your own productivity to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Achieve sales objectives as agreed with management
  • Maintain a reasonable knowledge of Stripe OLT’s range of products and services, competitor and business drivers
  • Prospect for new business
  • Maintain appropriate pipeline
  • Record all activity and opportunities in the CRM system
  • Work effectively with other internal departments
  • Produce timely and accurate forecasting

  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
